I recently stumbled into a new hobby….oil painting. The type of paintings I do are called “wet-on-wet” paintings like Bob Ross did. So, I watched some of his videos, went and bought some supplies, and put my brush to canvas.
My first few paintings were…uhm…….yea. haha
But…since then, I’ve learned a lot and have been having fun with it. I started on 8x10 canvas, then slowly went up in size until starting with painting number 013 all canvas are now 16x20 with a few 18x24 thrown in too.
I’m no master artist, but it’s pretty relaxing and fun. If I can do it…anyone can!
They look better in person versus the photograph I take of them……
This is painting #43….it’s a huge 30x40 canvas I did.
